A very eay to make onion bhaji that will let you taste the india culture

Onion Bhaji’s are easier to make than you thin and they are provide perfect snack.


2 onions, chopped
4oz gram flour
1 to 2 chillies, de-seeded and finely chopped
¼ pint water
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon fresh coriander, chopped
Pinch salt

Recipe Instructions

Make the batter.
Mix all the ingredients tougher in a large mixing bowl, except the water. Slowly add the water a little at a time until the batter thickens.

Cook the bhajis.
Deep fry the onions in batches for 2 minutes each until they turn golden brown.

To serve.
The onion bhajis are great served on a bed on shredded lettuce with wedges of lemon.
