A delicious casserole with tender beef and tasty onion gravy.


300g braising steak, cut into thin slices
600ml beef gravy
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 carrots, sliced
2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 bay leaves

Recipe Instructions

Preheat the oven to 170C.

Prepare the stew.
Fry the onions in a casserole dish in the butter until they have browned. Add the remaining ingredients, adding a little water to ensure all the ingredients are covered. Place in the oven and cook for 90 minutes stirring occasionally.

To serve.
Remove the bay leaves and it is ready to serve.
